We all wish to have that smooth baby soft skin, right?  Im very fortunate I don't have too much unwanted hair.  But, for some, hair can grow thick and in places we wish not to have them.

There are many methods to remove hair.  Depending where the hairs are located you could tweeze, shave, wax or use depilatory creams.  But there are problems that come with these forms of hair removal.

So, I had to try this out while I was in Japan.

I first visited Datsumo Labo in the Tokyo Area.  But, unfortunately they do not offer any walk-in's.  You need to make an appointment, Datsumo Labo offers a fast and easy 40 seconds on-line booking.  Heres the link for Japan and heres the link for Singapore.

They were wonderful enough to get me an appointment in Sapporo.  My first appointment was a consultation and paper work. Everything is written in Japanese and they will not be able to translate anything for you.  I was lucky enough to have my mom there for me.  She read everything  and explained what I didn't know.  I was disappointed that they did not honor "15% off by quoting a blogger's name"  they didn't even know any bloggers on the Singapore's website.

A few days later I came back for my procedure. I had my legs, under arms,  I line, V line and O lines done (Brazilian).  It was painless.  If you do get this procedure done they recommend that you do not go in the public bath house for at least 10 days.  So make sure you plan wisely since Japan has so many onsen and bath house.

Unfortunately there are no Datsumo Labo in America yet.  Im hoping someday they will decide to bring it here.

It's a 10, Miracle Leave-In Product

Recently, I was given a full size sample of It's a 10, miracle leave-in product.  This is a leave in moisturizer that claims it does 10 things instantly:

1. Repairs dry, damaged hair

2. Adds shine

After shampooing my hair, while still wet I sprayed about 4 pumps of It's a 10 in my hand and spread through my hair evenly.  I noticed immediately the floral scent.  After air drying for about an hour, I blowed dried my hair and added a little more product before flat ironing my hair.  I noticed 5 of their 10 claims right away.  My hair was shiny, detangled, not frizzy, silky and smooth. I also used it as a flat iron spray and thermal protector. This product is easy to use.  I like to use it on towel dried hair and spraying the product directly in my hand for more controlled application.  When using on dry hair, hair appears more shiny and again smells really nice, this is a great way to refreshen your hair.  This product is amazing and gives exceptional results in just one application, I give it a 10!

Handsome Girl-Hunk, A Successful Male Model

Dansou is a term for women who dress in japanese mens fashion.  This trend has become quite popular in Japan and even China. Yachen Xing a 23 year old student from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University in China, has been stirring up a lot of attention on Weibo (China's version of Twitter). Yachen's photos of her striking handsome looks has gone viral.  She has been named "China's Most Handsome Girl-Hunk In History" according to Chinese internet sites.  Her boyish looks have helped this young girl to become a successful male model.  Yachen's fan-following on Weibo call her their "Prince Charming".  Sorry, ladies (or gents) this handsome girl is taken.  See her handsome photos below.

Another popular dansou, is a Japanese Pop Idol called Fudanjuku. All eight members cross dress in their alter-ego male counter part while performing on stage.  This group started off as Nakano Fudan Juku a J-pop girl-band, but slow sales and stale popularity in the already saturated J-Pop market turned these gals into the popular J-Pop Dansou artists.  Now these cross dressing gals are popular than ever.  You can see them here.
